Pork Trotter Vinegar
猪脚醋
Ingredients:
1/2 Pork trotter1 small bottle of black vinegar
1 piece of ginger
Sesame oil
Hard-boiled egg
Method:
1. Blanch pork trotter in boiling water. Drain.
2. Smash ginger and pan fry (without oil) to remove excess water in ginger.
3. Add in sesame oil and fry ginger untill fragrance.
4. Add in pork trotter and fry for few minutes.
5. Add in whole bottle of black vinegar plus water to cover the pork.
6. Add in egg & cook for at least one hour / Cook in slow cooker for 3hours or until meat soften.
7. Serve.
* If vinegar is sweet & sour type, no need to add in sugar.
If vinegar is sour type, can add in some rock sugar.
